The main agrochemical properties of soil and content of biogenic and harmful elements after thirty-five-year long fertilization with various quantities of mineral (NPK) fertilizers has been studied. Compared to the control, the application of fertilizers increased soil acidity, humus content, and total adsorption capacity, but also decreased significantly the share of adsorbed bases (Ca and Mg) in the soil adsorptive complex. In addition, fertilization increased the content of casily available phosphorus, potassium, iron and manganese, whereas the contents of the other biogenic elements and harmful heavy metals did not change significantly.
