Semen activating media VKA-2 forr (Cyprinus carpio L.)

Comparative study was carried out with three media for activation of sperms of Cyprinus caprio. The media VKA-2 possessed the best sperm activated effect. Many times increase of sperm motility was found which exceeded 30 min for media VKA-2. An intensification of the energy metabolism of the activated sperms was noticed which was identified by the high levels of oxygen intake and the activity of cytochrome system.
