Fertilization influence on alfalfa yield

In period 1995-1998 on a calcareous chernozem was study influence of fertilization on alfalfa yield. Effect of fertilization is the better expressed in second year of alfalfa growing and in the first mowing. Fertilization of alfalfa with rate N60P250K200 increase its yield with 17%, fertilization with N60 P400K350 29% and fertilization with N60P550K400 with 31%. The most high net profit from fertilization is obtained from rate N60P550K400 - 128.6 lv/ha, but the most high profit of ability from rate N60P250K200 -114.01%.
