2003
Petev, M. (Kompleksna Opitna Stantsiya, Yambol (Bulgaria))
The study was carried out with the aim to determine the optimum time for insemination and lambing of ewes of the Bulgarian Corriedale breed and its influence on the liveweight at 100 days of age and on the quantitative characteristics of the wool productivity. The results showed that the lambs obtained from the control group II and group I varied in narrow bounds - from 117.31 % to 118.37 %. a considerrably higher % of obtained lambs was observed for group III (152.83 %), which exceeded the control group with 35.52% and group I with 34.46 %. The differences between group III and the other two groups were mathematically proved at P 0.01. The prolificacy per ewe available was the lowest for the first group - 100 %, and the control exceeded ot with 5.17 %.
