The energy efficiency and eco-friendly requirement for the 2010-year will not be fulfilled in Serbia by the tractor and engines technology alone. Fuels and lubricants have a role to play in this area also. At the moment fuel has to be used from domestic refineries. Leaded petrol have around 0.4 gram per liter tetraetil lead. Unleaded petrol has more amounts of sulfur and aromatics than EU standards. Low leaded petrol's has to be used at the small quantity by higher prices. The same situation is with the diesel fuel with small quantity sulfur (nearly EU standards). Both phenomena have been ecologically unaccepted. Fuel-efficient engine oils also have the potential to contribute a significant reduction on a fleet's fuel bill. Around 70 of different suppliers of lubricant sell the same in "originals packing" and "bay on measure". The Serbian fuels and lubricants specifications are not able to define good quality fuels and lubricants. Alternative fuels and lubricants activities are part of an evolutionary process which can be summarized as follows: "Man must learn how to produce his own energy just as he learnt to produce his own food". The reach the EU quality objectives for 2010 establishing efficient working teams dealing under the principle of three parties obligations to the Government, Agricultural and Oil Industry and local coalitions on these priorities.
