With the signing of the Professional Agreement of the Sugar Industry, just two days after the EU conference in Copenhagen, a very important chapter in the history of the Hungarian sugar industry was closed. The sector has been going through very significant changes and development during the past 10 years, with the target of staying competitive after accession into the EU.
