In recent years incidence of Ramularia leaf spot was observed on cultivated and collected medicinal plants in various districts of Hungary. Ramularia species cause leaf spots on medicinal plants. Severe leaf damagedevelopes in the second part of the vegetation period. Susceptibility of medicinal plants against the disease is varying. Conidiophores of the pathogens form tiny fascicles in the leaf spots. Single conidial development and chain formation occure.
