[Effect of defoliation on growth and yield of green pea (Vigna radiata L.) of walet and wongsorejo varieties]

Английский. The objectives of experiment was to know and studies how far is influences of defoliation and varieties to growth and yield of green pea (Vigna radiata L.). The experiment was conducted in Instalation Garden of Tuber and Peas Research (INLITKABI), in Jambegede village, district of Kepanjen, Malang regency. Times of experiment from February until April 1999. The experiment used randomized block design (RBD) in factorial with two factors and four replications. The first factor was variety and consisted of 2 levels: wongsorejo (VI), and walet (V2). The second factor was defoliation and consist of 3 levels: without defoliation (D0), 2 leaf trifoliate defoliation (D1), and 4 leaf trifoliate defoliation (D2). The description factor including the higher of plant, the number of leaf, the number of flower cluster, the number of pod, the leaf areas, the dry weight, the dry weight of pod, the dry weight of seeds, total number of seed per pod, the 100 seed weight, and seed dry weight per hectare. The last data would be analyzed with F test on alpha 5 percent. To know the comparison of treatment, the continued test had to do with MDRS on alpha 5 percent. The finished result of the experiment showed that there were interaction between variety and defoliation to variables of: number of pod, pod dry weight per plant, seed dry weight per plant, 100 seed dry weight, and yield. неизвестный. Tujuan percobaan adalah untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari sejauh mana pengaruh defoliasi dan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.). Percobaan dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Instalasi Penelitian Tanaman Kacang-kacangan dan Umbi-umbian (INLITKABI), di desa Jambegede, Kecamatan Kepanjen, Kabupaten Malang. Waktu pelaksanaan mulai bulan Pebruari hingga April 1999. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang disusun secara faktorial dengan 2 faktor dan 4 ulangan. Faktor I adalah varietas yang terdiri dari 2 level, yaitu varietas wongsorejo (VI) dan varietas walet (V2). Sedangkan faktor II adalah defoliasi yang terdiri dari 3 level, yaitu tanpa defoliasi (D0), defoliasi 2 helai daun trifoliate (D1), dan defoliasi 4 helai daun trifoliate (D2). Peubah yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah tandan bunga, jumlah polong, luas daun, bobot kering total, bobot kering polong, bobot kering biji, jumlah biji per polong, bobot 100 butir, dan bobot kering biji per hektar. Data yang diperoleh diuji dengan analisis ragam (uji F) pada taraf nyata 5 persen. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui perbedaan diantara perlakuan, dilakukan uji lanjut dengan menggunakan BNT pada taraf nyata 5 persen. Dari hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara varietas dan defoliasi terhadap peubah jumlah polong, bobot kering polong per tanaman, bobot kering biji pertanaman, bobot 100 biji dan hasil panen. Hasil tertinggi diperoleh dari kombinasi antara varietas wongsorejo dan defoliasi 2 daun trifoliate (16,7 kuintal/ha)
