Though a number of pathogens and biocontrol agents have been reported occurring on various species of Scarabaeidae, the same has not been employed on a large scale to produce viable results. Therefore the identified bio agents has to be investigated for their potential. The biology, behaviour of white grubs and their pathogens coupled with environmental conditions might greatly affect the performance of bioagents.
