Quail farming untapped source for human food, employment and income

In India, Central Avian Research Institute (CARI) at Izatnagar, Bareilly has made pioneering research work for development of improved germplasm and technical know-how. But quail farming is still in its infancy in our country and lagging much behind to chicken and duck farming. It is high time to arouse awareness regarding outstanding potentiality of this smallest commercial avian species, especially to provide employment to the youth and upliftment of small and marginal farmers.
