A screen-house experiment was conducted to study the effect of glue waste and nitrogen levels on dry matter yield and uptake of nitrogell, phosphorus and potash by wheat. The dry matter yield of wheat increased significantly with increasing levels of nitrogen and waste. The lllteraction between nitrogell and glue waste was found to be non-significant, indicating thereby the independent behaviour of nitrogen and glue waste. Dry matter yield varied fi.om 2.46 9 pot-1 in control (no glue waste+0 mg N kg1) to 9.37 9 pot1 with 1.0% glue waste+75 mg N kgl application. The uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash by wheat increased significantly with the increased application of glue Waste and nitrogen. The organic carbon content, available nitrogen and phosphorus bf post-harvest soil samples increased significantly with the increasing levels of nitrogen and glue waste. The post-harvest available potash content remained unaffected with the application of glue waste and increased with the application of nitrogen.
