Application of nitrogen at 80 kgl1la significantly increased the green and dry fodder yield, content of crude protein, crude fat, mineral matter, nitrogen free extract, crude fibre, accumulation of crude protein, crude fat, mineral matter, NFE and crude fibre, metabolizable energy, and monetary returns and B : C ratio over their lowre doses. The highest green (335.05 q/ha) and dry fodder (113.49 q/ha) yield and net realization (Rs. 9756/ha) were recorded in case of nitrogen at 80 kgl1la. Among varieties, SU-I significantly increased the green and dry fodder, crude protein content at 60 and 80 Q4.S, crude fat content, NFE, accumulation of crude protein, crude fa,t accumulation, mineral matter accumulation, NFE uptake, metabolizable energy, returns and B : C ratio over Rajasthan Chari-l and Rajasthan Chari-2. It recorded the highest green fodder (317.28 q/ha), dry fodder (110.39 q/ha) and net retwn (Rs. 9191/ha), which was 3.02 & 9.43, 10.50 & 11.97 and 4.21 & 13.50 higher over Rajasthan Chari-l and Rajasthan Chari-2, respectively.
