[Hull-less barley and its perspectives]

This article presents perspectives of growing hull-less barley in Latvia. Although there were a few experiments with this form of barley during 1930ties, only in last ten years researches have been done in Latvia University of Agriculture and in Priekuli. The author writes about use of hull-less barley in food production and animal feed, chemical content, productivity as well as advantages and problems.
