The course of embryonic development of chickens was investigated in regard to the different higher temperatures in the first days of incubation and in regard to the number of eggs in the incubator. It was established that the output of youngsters increased by 2.0-4.5 per cent (in comparison with the standard regime figures) when all the incubator was filled with the eggs of one loading, and the temperature was maintained during the first 3.5 days at 38.3 deg C, from the fourth till the 10th day at 37.8-37.6 deg C and beginning with the eleventh day till the time when the eggs were carried to the hatching compartment at 37.0-37.2 deg C. Air humidity must by 61, 55-50 and 45-49 per cent according to the periods, respectively. Besides that on the 17th day of incubation eggs must be cooled once at the same incubator. The duration of the cooling process is 3-3.5 hours.
