The study suggests that is necessary to use unitiole in order to prevent accumulation of toxic elements in the bodies of chicks. Inclusion of unitiole at the amount of 17 mg/1 kg feed starting with the age of 2 weeks and up to the end of rearing of chicks allowed to reduce the content of mercury 2 times in the liver and 1.75-2 times in the kidneys and 2.9 times in the muscle tissues. Use of double dose of unitiole - 34 mg/1 kg of feed on week 6 of broiler rearing resulted in substantial reduction of the content of mercury - 3.9 times in the liver and 3.3 times in meat.
