Seagrasses at Hat Chao Mai national park, Trang province, Southern Thailand

Two line-transects were set at Hat Chao Mai National Park, Trang Province, Sothern Thailand. Five samples in five study sites of seagrasses from each linetransect were collected randomly during 1995-1996 to be recorded the distribution, morphology and ecology of seagrasses. It was found that there were eight species in six genera as follows: Enhalus acoroides (L.f.) Royle, Halophila ovalis (R.Br.) Hook.f., H. minor (Zollinger) den Hartog, and Thalassia hemprichii (Ehrenb.) Aschers are in the family Hydrocharitaceae, while Halodule uninervis (Forsk.) Aschers., Cymodocea rotundata Ehrenb. & Hempr. ex.
