The experiments consisting 25 sunflower hybrids were conducted at in three locations in 2000 and 2001. These hybrids were evaluated based on 10 important yield components. The path and correlation analysis were applied to determine the contribution of different traits to seed and oil yield. Based on correlation analysis, the significant relationship was between seed & oil yield and other yield components, flowering time and hull rate were negative, others were positive. Path analysis results showed that the most contribution was from plant height to seed yield based on combined over two year results, 1000 seed weight, head diameter, physiological maturity time and hectoliter weight followed this component. The most contribution was from plant height and 1000 seed weight to determine on oil yield, physilogical maturity time, oil content and hectoliter weight followed them respectively
