[Improving the efficiency of energy consumption in vegetable production]

The thesis deals with agricultural enterprises and private farms involved in vegetable production. The research is aimed at substantiating a system approach to developing reasonable budgets of production costs for vegetable production, and determine the directions of reducing the costs with regard to the principles of resource and energy assessment. The study resulted in conducting quantity evaluation of total and category energy costs for different types of farm enterprises. Models are developed and substantiated of resource and energy saving technologies in vegetable production. Directions are substantiated to improve economic and energy efficiency while using energy saving techniques of vegetable production in market economy
