Survey study on soils of the cultivated land in Bhachee basin was carried out to study type and physical properties of the soils. One hundred soil samples were randomly taken from the culivated land. Soil samples were examined in the field and classified to soil series. The soil samples of all series were analysed in laboratory. Results of the study revealed that the soils belonged to 4 orders, namely, Ultisols, Alfisols, Entisols and Inceptisols. Ten soil series, namely, Korat, San Pa Tong, Mae Rim, Tha Yang, Nakhon Pathom, Khao Yoi, Kamphaeng Saen series covered the largest area. Texture of the soil series fell in one of three soil textural classes, namely, loam, sandy loam, and loamy sand. Average bulk density were in the range of 1.36-1.88 g/cubic cm.
