Dry biomass of fresh water algae from Chlorella kind in feed mixture of laying henns

The aim of this study was to establish the influence of the tested product on productivity of laying hens, morphological characteristic of table eggs, the total lipids, phospholipids and cholesterol content and fatty acid composition of the egg yolk. The tested product contains 55 crude protein, 9.6 crude fat, palmic-20,4, linolic - 15 and oleic - 10.3 from total amount of the fatty acids in the product.Two experiments were carried out with laying hens from the hybrid combination Bovans Braun respectiveely at the age of the birds 26 weeks and 74 weeks after a period of moulting. During the experiments the laying capacity was daily controlled.The egg weight, form index, sell weight and thickness and the yolk color were periodically controlled. It was established that the addition of 10 of the tested product increased significantly the content of palmic and linolenic acids, but decreased the content of docosatetraenoic acid.
