Technological and technical conditions for safety grains drying and storing

An importance which technological processes for grains drying and storing have in the sence of quality maintenance and reduction of energy consumption are presented in this paper. A great deal of grains from crop production are dried because of higher moisture content during harvesting, so energy rationalization of dryers is important demand from economical point of view. An analyze of existing dryers technical conditions in agriculture shows that most of them are out of date and they operate as single air pass through grain layer. The new dryers which are energetically better solutions are very few, so it can be concluded that this process is expensive in this country. Safety storage is possible only for the grains with equilibrium moisture content. That is an important factor for carefully handling, while the other influence factors depend on equipment conditions installed in storages as well as from additional incorporated systems for control and management of input grains quality.
