Effects of schematic thinning in Austrian pine and Scots pine artificially established stands on Pesterska visoravan [Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro)]

Schematic thinning was applied in artificially established Austrian pine and Scots pine stand on Pesterska Visoravan under the designed model reported in the paper by Mitrovic, D., Matovic, B. (2003). The study was performed in the management unit 'Derventa-Babinjaca' in the stand 2a, aged about 30 years, site class 2/3. It was concluded that schematic thinning, in addition to its silvicultural function, also has a positive financial effect.
