The influence of carrier on premix homogeneity

Premix production is a complex technological procedure and premix homogeneity is one of the quality parameter. Selection of premix carrier is very important because of its role in homogeneity, that is the distribution of ingredients of premix, as well as, its nutritive value. The influence of premix carrier (corn meal, wheat bran and mixture of wheat shorts and wheat flour type 850) on the distribution of micronutrients (Fe, Zn, Cu, and Mn) and the premix homogeneity at the optimum mixing time have been investigated in the work.
