Fish production on our ponds takes places in two, often in three and more years cycle. During winter holidays market demands bigger fish mostly carp. Consumers in Vojvodina (Serbia and Montenegro) and larger cities in continuous supplying during whole year accept fish between 1200-1700 g. Fish of this size could be produced in two year production cycle using full food mixtures and on the other hand this fish is suitable as a base for production in three years cycle. Feeding carp in classic fish ponds with full food mixtures it is possible to accomplish higher production level, between 2000-3000 kilos per ha with improvement of environmental conditions.
