Reservoir sedimentation in Serbia - problems and solutions

This paper presents indicators of the intensity and characteristics of the siltation process by river sediments in certain reservoirs used for energy production in Serbia. Furthermore, an attempt is made for formulate guidelines on the basis of domestic and international experience, which should be used in planning, design, and operation of reservoirs in this region.
