The increase of fuel prices, reduced reserves of crude oil reserves, efforts made to find environmentally - friendly fuels, protecting the economical independence from oil exporters - are the major motives driving numerous researchers all over the world towards the use of biodiesel fuel that can be produced from the oils of plant origin. While the technological aspect of fuel-grade biodiesel production has more or less been given significant attention, the economic analysis of that production has attracted much less attention.
