An interactive software for climatological characterization of [the] Vojvodina Province [Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro)]

Modern market of agricultural products implied that products have to be followed by main characteristics of region of origin. Among that characteristics important rolw play climatological data. However, determination of climatological characteristics, usually depicted in forms of different indices, is related to rather difficult meteorological data collecting as well as complex procedure of data processing. To avoid aforementioned problems an interactive software has been developed. In this paper we presented the main characteristics of this software. As a powerfull tool for meteorological data management it includes determination of climatological mean values of temperature and precipitation, accumulated temperature and Selyaninov hydrothermal coefficient. All calculations, in this software, are made on the base of monthly averaged values of meteorological data for the period of 30 years. Daily values, needed for some calculations, are obtained by Furriers transformation of monthly averages. Software is developed in Borland Delphi 5 environment.
