Climate nomogram of the Vojvodina Province [Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro)], indicator of drought intensity and its relationship with soybean yields

Using a procedure of Hergreaves (1992) adapted for the local climatic conditions and monthly indices of moisture provision, we have analyzed summer droughts occurring in the Vojvodina Province during previous four decades and soybean yield performances. Yield variations have been correlated with rainfall amounts and distribution and drought intensity and duration.
