In the paper it is detailed considered absorption, translocation and metabolism of sulfonylurea group herbicides in plants, and especially indicates to their selectivity which is based in metabolism speed in susceptible and tolerant species. The aim of this work is to present these compounds to our, first of all professional, but also scientific publicity and also to present world literature regarding this matter.
