Exports and local marketability of both pepper produced cultivation and open field pepper depend on whether we succeed in the near future in achieving significant yield increases and quality improvements, as well as enhancing yield security. Results of experiments and surveys carried out on farms involved in production suggest that nutrient management is one of the factors the development of which could considerably improve the marketability of pepper.
