Genotypes and sweet potato production system for supporting agroindustry

Английский. To overcome the seasonality quantum, the continuous availability of raw material in agroindustry for sweetpotato is needed by manipulating pre-harvest, particularly production system. Four genotypes of sweetpotato grown under five plants and soil managements were evaluated in two planting seasons, namely at early and late dry season in Srengat Blitar, using strip plot design and three replications. The result showed that the vegetative growth (length of plant and weight of dry matter) of four genotypes of sweet potato was not significantly on both, the several soil management and planting seasons. The genjah Rante variety gave higher productivity and was consistent in two planting system, namely 23.22 t/ha at early dry season and 21.36 t/ha at late dry season. The soil management and planting system of sweet potato consisted of soil tillage, plouged by harrowing, fertilized by 30 kg urea + 2 t of ash + 10 t/ha of bitter leaves at planting, and 70 kg urea + 2 t/ha of ash at 70 days after planting gave 23.08 t/ha at early dry season and 19.06 t/ha at late dry season. The ash (2 t/ha) can be used to replace KCl (100 kg/ha). On the other hand, 10 t/ha of chicken dunks could be replaced by 10 t/ha of bitter leaves as source of organic fertilizer. Показать больше [+] Меньше [-]индонезийский. Untuk menyediakan bahan baku ubijalar bagi agroindustri secara berkelanjutan, perlu penanaman sepanjang tahun. Penelitian lapang dilaksanakan untuk mendukung agroindustri ubijalar melalui kegiatan pra panen khususnya sistem produksi. Empat genotipe ubijalar genjah Rante, Samarinda, CN 1108-13 dan TIS 2353 dikombinasikan dengan cara pengelolaan tanah dan tanaman dievaluasi dalam strip plot dengan 3 ulangan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada dua musim tanam yaitu MK I dan MK II di lokasi Srengat, Blitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan vegetatif (panjang tanaman dam berat brangkasan) empat genotipe ubijalar sama pada semua cara pengelolaan lahan pada dua musim tanam. Produktivitas tertinggi dicapai varietas genjah Rante dan konsisten pada dua musim tanam (22,33 t/ha pada MK I dan 21,36 t/ha pada MK II). Pengelolaan lahan dan tanaman yang terdiri: tanah dibajak, digulud dengan bajak, 30 kg urea + 2 t/abu + 10 t mulsa pahitan/ha pada saat tanam, 70 kg urea + 2 t abu/ha pada 70 HST, tanpa pembalikan batang, penyiangan dan pembumbunan dengan cangkul memberikan hasil 23,08 t/ha pada MK I dan 19,06 t/ha pada MK II. Pemberian abu, pupuk kandang atau mulsa pahitan pada jenis tanah Entisol menampakan peningkatan produktivitas lahan. Peran pupuk KCl dapat digantikan abu, dan pupuk kandang dapat digantikan dengan pahitan, meskipun pengadaan 10 t pahitan/ha di tanah vulkanik cukup sulit
