Effect of various storaging period to the viability of Beauveria bassiana for controlling corn stem borer O. furnacalis

The research was conducted at RIMOC laboratory. Research aimed to see the seed vigority and pathogenicity of B. bassiana in controlling O. furnacalis. Research was arranged in randomized completely design which consist of 10 treatments, and replicated 5 times for seed vigority and 3 times for B. bassiana pathogenicity. The treatments were a sets of storaging time of B. bassiana i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5, 6, 7 and 8 months respectively. As a comparison at the above treatment, the B. bassiana grown on 12 days PDA, and 12 days on corn rice were also used. The result indicated that the number of conidia of B. bassiana was not developed if it is stored for 2 months in refrigerator
