These are proceedings of a training course held in December 1993. It was a one-day seminar followed by a four-day regional biological control training course held to provide a forum for the exchange of information on aphid sampling procedures, aphid and natural enemy rearing, and natural enemy release and evaluation methods. The seminar provided and opportunity for the countries to present an update on the status of aphid and other forest pests in their countries. The presentations are the subject of these proceedings.
