This book is divided into 15 chapters with 2111 entries. Much use has naturally been made of material already published in bibliographies. Library catalogues and card indexes proved very reliable in the absence of actual items. The arrangement of chapters, sections and sub-sections is alphabetical. To make the best use of bibliography the user should first look at the contents, which list all subjects heading together with their serial number.
