Comparative study on tariff and volume tables using select tree species

The present study considers application of tariff tables approach to the forest planning and management in Blue Nile forest with the objectives of attaining accuracy and economy in volume estimation. The study was carried out four naturally growing species (Habil, Talih, Higlig and Subag) at Blue Nile. Region and the main objective is the construction of tariff tables Regression Methods were employed for construction of tariff tables classified by tariff number and species, covariance analysis indicated that there has been no significant difference between tariff equations for each tariff number indicates the universality of tariff system and solves the species limitation.
