Results of soil cover reclamation on the area after Jeziorko sulphur mine (Poland)

The paper aimed at a description of properties, mainly physical of anthropogenic soil on the reclaimed area in Jeziorko (Poland). Two objects were chosen for testing: FII - reclaimed by grasses and FVI - reclaimed by forest. After analyses it was found out that total sulphur and organic carbon contents were more favourable on FVI. Moreover, water properties of the reclaimed soil can be assessed as favourable, especially on FII where the soil showed higher total and field water capacity and the retention of both the productive and available water than those on FVI
