Of all tested growth stages of Alphitobius diaperinus the most sensitive to entomopathogenic nematodes were the lesser mealworm. Older larvae were found to be more sensitive than the younger ones. Relatively less sensitive were pupae and the least - adult insects. Nematodes of the Steinernematide family were more effective against larvae while nematodes belonging to Heterorhabditidae family - against pupae. S. feltiae appeared to be more infective against adult insects - both its laboratory strains and those used in commercial biopreparations. From applied biopreparations, Owinema based on S. felitae was the most efficient against the lesser mealworm
