The purpose of this study was find out which of the most popular breeds and lines of rabbits in Poland can best satisfy the demands of producers in terms of growth rate, the intake complete diets, the use far-produced feeds, and the environmental condition that have to be met to achieve the desired production results. The study was also designed to determine the effect of the environment in its widest sense on slaughter performance and the quality of the end product (meat)
