Study on integrated control of brown planthopper Nilaparvata lugens Stal. by using predacious bug Tytthus chinensis Stal. and extracted neem found that using either the bug or extracted neem 150 ppm or together has high efficiency to control brown planthopper. Measuring the height of rice, number of tiller per hill, number of panicle per hill and dry weight per hill found that rice that treated with either the bug or neem has good result not different from control. Expecially number of panicle and dry weight per hill increased 2 times from 14.80 panicles to 31.00 panicles and 20 gms. to 44.40 gms respectively. Also first generation progeny of brown planthopper decreased significantly but not affected to the survival of first generation progeny of the bug.
