Project was aimed to construct a solid-fuel stove from wood sawdust, husks and corncobs, and to find out the efficiency of each fuel. The stove was constructed in a cylindrical shape with 250 mm. in diameter and 500 mm. high. It combined the systems of air intake, ash removal, wheels for convenient movement with wheels, cooking-container stand, and smoke ventilation. In the experiment, the temperature, air humidity, and the velocity of wind were recorded every ten minutes with the temperature detector, air moisture detector and wind speed detector. The recorded values were then calculated with the equation eta (sub)b = E (sub)rl/HHV to find out the effectiveness of the stove. It was found that the stove burning effectiveness from wood sawdust was 61.82 percent, from husk 60.09 percent and from corncob 42.04 percent after the burning period of 220, 210 and 270 minutes respectively.
