The goal of that report is to define economic characteristics of earthworm (E.foetida) farming, as a foundation of a successful alternative business in the rural regions in Bulgaria, to do assessment of economic results of a professinal vermiculture farm and do give some recommendation about the future development of vermiculture industry in Bulgaria.The objectives of rearing Elsinia foetida include:production of vermicast;production of worm for feeding on poultry, fish, pigs;solving some environmental problems through processing organic wastes.
