The heterosis vigour in F1, depression in F2 and gene effects on the inheritance of main silkworm moth reproductive characters in silkworm, Bombyx mori L. hybrids, created from sex-limited lines was studied. Weak manifestation of heterosis at number and weight of normal eggs per one lying over MP in range of 0.09-3.35% and 0.15-4.37% was observed in almost all tested crosses, while the value of this genetic parameter over HP (sex-limited at larva stage lines) was lower with 1.52-7.07% and 2.48-9.90%,respectively.
