The role of growth-promoting rhizobacteria in sustainable agriculture

The role of growth-promoting rhizobacteria in sustainable agriculture and prospects for greater explotation of biological potential of soil microorganisms are considered. Application of biological preparations has a long tradition in the Czech Republic. The preparation Rizobin has been manufactured in the Czech Republic since 1949. At present for innovated Rizobin Rhizobium strains are selected on both symbiotic nitrogen fixation and on the ability to release soluble phosphates from hardly soluble compounds. Innovated Rizobin is perspective for the reduction of phosphorus fertilization
