Flight dynamics and harmfulness of codling moth (Cydia pomonella L.)

Monitoring of flight dynamics of the codling moth (Cydia pomonella L.) was carried out in Radmilovac (Serbia), during 2002 and 2003. Flight of the butterflies was monitored using pheromone traps. Harmfulness of the moth was determined examining the fallen and the picked fruits. Three flight peaks were registered in both years. Fruit infestation was 28.4% in 2002, and 38.8% in 2003.
