The analysis of the presence of the life forms of the plants - presents therophytic - hemicryptophytic character of the weed flora. In the biological spectrum, the therophytes are represented by 51.11%, hemicryptophytes with 42.22% and geophytes with 6.67%. The analysis of ecological indices for 5 basic ecological factors confirms the predominance of the plants which prefer sub-mesophytic and subxerophitic states, mainly of neutral up to weakly alkaline reaction, medium rich with mineral material, and predominantly half-open up to open character, and mesophile up to thermophile in the aspect of temperature regime. By phytogeographical analysis of the weed flora of the alfalfa crops of north-east Belgrade, the presence of 11 different floral elements has been ascertained, grouped up into 5-area group.
