The efficiency of the following herbicides: EPTC (Beskor E-72), triphluralin (Zupilan E-48), imasetapir (Pivot 100 E) and metrabusine (Lord 70 WG) was investigated. The dominant weed species were: Anthemis arvensis, Polygonum persicaria, Lepidium draba, Amaranthus retroflexus, Echinochloa crus - galli and Sorghum halepense. The best efficiency in control of the Echinochloa crus - galli and Sorghum halepense showed: triphluralin and EPTC (94-100%). The majority of the researched preparations offered preety good results, what is to be of special importance for practical usage and further spread of this modest crop on numerous possible areas in our country.
