The purpose of this investigation was therefore to examine the possibility of reducing mineral fertilizers in cultivation of winter wheat without causing significant reduction of the grain yield and select favourable genotypes that more effectively utilize soil nutrients and applied fertilizers as the starting point for development of a system of sustainable wheat growing.
