Dried fruits are becoming very important product in recent time, whose consumption is still small on national market, but it is gradually becoming attractive for the export. Beside the plum, which is the synonym for dried fruit, the other fruit species are using as dried fruits. Under the hypothesis that 10 per cent of fruit production could be used as dried, with the average use of 25 per cent, the total quantity of dried fruit production in Serbia could be 20538 tones.
