The simplex method for determining needed number of tractor systems for ploughing was presented in this paper. It was established that the needed number of tractor caterogy of 40 kN is 2.79 tractors by the using of the simplex method during the optimization parameters of tractor systems for ploughing on the estate of 2000 ha, the length of parcel of 800 m and the specific resistance at ploughing of 0.8 daN/square cm.
