The aim of this paper is showing a justification of utilization of combined machines for mulch tillage and direct seed drill relative to conventional tillage system with mouldboard plough. The directives of transfer to alternative tillage systems and direct seed drill for which does not exist universal recipe were given. The influence of alternative tillage systems and seed drill was considered from aspect of changing in soil, appearance of weeds, reducing working hours and energy saving, reducing working expenses as well as utilization of appropriate machines and implements in tillage and seed drill.
